If you give your customers a discount for paying quickly, you can currently reduce the VAT appearing on your sales invoices by the discount percentage.

From 1st April 2015, you must show the full VAT amount on your sales invoices unless your customer pays you before you raise the invoice.

From 1st January 2015, the VAT rules for the supply of digital services in the EU changed.  When you supply digital services to a consumer in another EU country, you'll need to use the VAT rate applicable to that country rather than the UK VAT rate.

You'll also need to submit a VAT Return in that country, or start using the new VAT Mini One Stop Shop (MOSS)
